Deze privacyverklaring legt uit hoe SailRank omgaat met persoonsgegevens. SailRank is een dienst van Rikstar Labs. Wij vinden een zorgvuldige omgang met jouw gegevens belangrijk en houden ons aan de Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming (AVG).

2. Onze twee rollen

Afhankelijk van de situatie hebben wij een verschillende rol onder de AVG:

Verwerkingsverantwoordelijke voor gegevens van websitebezoekers, accounthouders en klanten (bijv. je account- en contactgegevens en de facturatie).
Verwerker voor de gegevens die een club of organisatie in SailRank invoert over haar deelnemers en wedstrijden. De club is daarvoor zelf verwerkingsverantwoordelijke. Wij verwerken die gegevens uitsluitend in opdracht van de club, op basis van onze verwerkersovereenkomst.

3. Welke gegevens wij verwerken

Contactgegevens	Naam, e-mail, club en bericht die je via het contactformulier stuurt
Club- en wedstrijdgegevens	Boten, deelnemers en uitslagen die een club invoert (verwerkt namens de club)
Gescande formulieren	Foto's van uitslagenformulieren die je uploadt voor AI-uitlezing
Betaalgegevens	Facturatiegegevens en betaalstatus via Stripe. Wij bewaren zelf geen volledige kaartgegevens.
Technische gegevens	IP-adres en loggegevens, nodig voor beveiliging en het functioneren van de dienst

4. Doeleinden en grondslagen

Leveren van de dienst — grondslag: uitvoering van de overeenkomst.
Facturatie en administratie — grondslag: uitvoering van de overeenkomst en wettelijke plicht.
Contact en support — grondslag: gerechtvaardigd belang en/of jouw toestemming.
Beveiliging, misbruikpreventie en verbetering — grondslag: gerechtvaardigd belang.

5. Bewaartermijnen

Club- en wedstrijdgegevens: volgens de databewaartermijn van het gekozen abonnement (1 tot 5 jaar), tenzij de club deze eerder verwijdert.
Accountgegevens: zolang je account actief is en daarna een redelijke periode.
Facturatiegegevens: 7 jaar, op grond van de wettelijke fiscale bewaarplicht.
Contactberichten: zolang als nodig om je vraag af te handelen.

6. Verstrekking aan derden (subverwerkers)

Wij schakelen zorgvuldig geselecteerde dienstverleners in om SailRank te laten werken. Met hen sluiten wij verwerkersovereenkomsten. Het gaat om:

Wij verkopen jouw gegevens niet aan derden.

7. Doorgifte buiten de EU

Wij streven ernaar gegevens binnen de Europese Economische Ruimte te verwerken. Waar een verwerker gegevens buiten de EER verwerkt (zoals in de Verenigde Staten), gebeurt dat op basis van passende waarborgen, zoals de standaardcontractbepalingen (SCC's) van de Europese Commissie.

8. Cookies

SailRank gebruikt uitsluitend functionele cookies die nodig zijn om de dienst te laten werken, zoals het onthouden van je inlogsessie en je taalvoorkeur. Wij gebruiken geen tracking-, advertentie- of analysecookies. Daarom tonen wij geen cookiebanner.

9. Beveiliging

Wij nemen passende technische en organisatorische maatregelen om jouw gegevens te beschermen tegen verlies of onrechtmatige verwerking, waaronder versleutelde verbindingen en toegangsbeperkingen.

10. Jouw rechten

Je hebt het recht om je persoonsgegevens in te zien, te corrigeren, te verwijderen of te beperken, om bezwaar te maken tegen de verwerking en om je gegevens over te dragen (dataportabiliteit). Gaf je toestemming, dan kun je die altijd intrekken. Stuur je verzoek naar info@sailrank.app.

Betreft je verzoek gegevens die een club in SailRank beheert, richt je dan tot de betreffende club; wij verwijzen je zo nodig door.

Ben je het niet eens met hoe wij met je gegevens omgaan, dan kun je een klacht indienen bij de Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

11. Wijzigingen

Wij kunnen deze privacyverklaring van tijd tot tijd aanpassen. De actuele versie staat altijd op deze pagina, met bovenaan de datum van de laatste wijziging.

This privacy policy explains how SailRank handles personal data. SailRank is a service operated by Rikstar Labs. We take the careful handling of your data seriously and comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Our two roles

Depending on the situation, we act in a different role under the GDPR:

Data controller for the data of website visitors, account holders and customers (e.g. your account and contact details and billing).
Data processor for the data a club or organisation enters into SailRank about its participants and races. The club is the controller for that data. We process it solely on the club's instructions, under our data processing agreement.

3. What data we process

4. Purposes and legal bases

Providing the service — basis: performance of the contract.
Billing and administration — basis: performance of the contract and legal obligation.
Contact and support — basis: legitimate interest and/or your consent.
Security, abuse prevention and improvement — basis: legitimate interest.

5. Retention periods

Club and race data: according to the data retention period of the chosen plan (1 to 5 years), unless the club deletes it sooner.
Account data: for as long as your account is active, and a reasonable period thereafter.
Billing data: 7 years, based on the statutory tax retention obligation.
Contact messages: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.

6. Sharing with third parties (sub-processors)

We use carefully selected service providers to operate SailRank, with whom we enter into data processing agreements:

We do not sell your data to third parties.

7. Transfers outside the EU

We aim to process data within the European Economic Area. Where a processor processes data outside the EEA (such as in the United States), this is done on the basis of appropriate safeguards, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

8. Cookies

SailRank uses only functional cookies that are necessary for the service to work, such as remembering your login session and language preference. We do not use tracking, advertising or analytics cookies. That is why we do not show a cookie banner.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss or unlawful processing, including encrypted connections and access controls.

10. Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict your personal data, to object to processing and to data portability. Where you gave consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Send your request to info@sailrank.app.

If your request concerns data managed by a club within SailRank, please contact that club; we will refer you if needed.

If you disagree with how we handle your data, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the latest change shown at the top.
